Why I’m building Bandido
AI has gotten remarkably capable, but most of it still lives inside a chat box. You open an app, ask for something, wait, and close it.
I wanted something different: a small object you can hand work to and then forget about. Something that keeps going, tells you what it’s doing, and gets your attention only when it actually needs you.
That became Bandido.

Hi, I’m Brad.
I’m a product designer and builder. I spent years at Apple working on products used by people around the world and have spent the last few years building AI products of my own.
Bandido is an attempt to make agents feel less like software you operate and more like something that works alongside you.
A computer you don’t have to stare at
Bandido isn’t meant to replace your phone or become another screen competing for attention. The screen is there to communicate state, personality, and the occasional decision. The goal is simple: give it a job, put it back in your pocket, and get on with your life.
